Hello!! A bit about me: As a Canadian native, I grew up in a city called London, Ontario and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in Economics and Mathematics. While growing up I played many sports, primarily basketball, and still continue to play (at least that is what I tell myself as I run up and down the court twice a week!). While playing basketball in college, the cooperative and leaderships skills I gained led me to my passion as a teacher. While satisfying my interests in travel, I moved to Melbourne, Australia to peruse my graduate work and become a teacher. I loved the lifestyle so much that I remained another year and began my teaching career in Melbourne. Being a true family gal at heart, I returned to Canada to teach. After meeting my husband at a teachers conference, I picked up and moved to California and then on to the PNW all while starting a family and finishing a Masters in Math Education. This year I will enter my 14th year of teaching and am excited for the new adventure that awaits me at Skyline. In my free time, ha ha, I love spending time with my family, playing board games, hiking, watching the Seahawks and relaxing.
